Terms of Service
Effective date: September 15, 2026
Last updated: September 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LogDog (the "Service"): the LogDog Discord application and the LogDog web dashboard at app.logdog.gg. The Service is operated by Raplaz Technologies LLC ("Raplaz Technologies," "we," "us," or "our"). Our websites at logdog.gg and docs.logdog.gg are informational; reading them does not make you a party to these Terms, and our Privacy Policy describes how they handle information.
You agree to these Terms by inviting LogDog to a Discord server, configuring it, signing in to the dashboard, linking an account, or submitting content through it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who these Terms apply to
LogDog is used by two kinds of people, and these Terms treat them differently.
Operators are the people who invite LogDog to a Discord server, connect a VRChat group, configure what it delivers and what it automates, and manage premium. If you do any of those things, you are an Operator, and Sections 2 through 7 and Section 12 apply to you in full.
Members are everyone else who interacts with LogDog: people who link or unlink their VRChat account, submit a world suggestion or playlist item, use a command a server has made available to them, or sign in to the dashboard without administering a server. If that is you, the parts of these Terms that apply to you are Section 1, the account-linking rules in Section 3, the content rules in Section 4, the acceptable-use rules in Section 5, and Sections 8 through 16. You are not responsible for how a server's Operators configure or use LogDog, and you do not indemnify us for their conduct.
Everyone who uses the Service must:
- be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required to use Discord and VRChat in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only if a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf; and
- comply with the Discord Terms of Service, the Discord Community Guidelines, and VRChat's Terms of Service and any applicable VRChat API or platform terms.
Operators must additionally have authority to act for the Discord server and VRChat group they connect (typically a server administrator and a group owner or moderator with permission to grant audit-log access), and authority to perform any moderation, posting, or role actions they direct LogDog to take in that group. Operators are responsible for all activity that occurs under any server, account, or dashboard session they connect to the Service, and for keeping their Discord accounts secure.
2. What LogDog does
LogDog reads your VRChat group's audit log (activity your connected group already exposes to authorized members, such as joins, leaves, bans, kicks, role changes, instance activity, and posts) and delivers that activity as messages ("embeds") into the Discord channels you choose. It also provides configuration commands (for example /setup, /events, /notify, and /permissions) and the web dashboard to control what is delivered, where, and who can use which features, and to review your group's history.
LogDog also lets authorized moderators take certain actions in the connected VRChat group from Discord or the dashboard: for example banning or unbanning a member, approving, denying, or blocking group join requests, posting announcements and scheduled events, and synchronizing VRChat group roles for linked members. LogDog performs these actions only when an Operator directs it to, including through automated rules the Operator configures (such as request screening), and only to the extent the VRChat permissions granted to the LogDog account allow. Operators are responsible for the actions they take or automate through the Service and for their outcomes within their community.
The Service relays information as reported by VRChat. We do not create, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of audit-log data, profile data, or age-verification status, and delivery may be delayed or interrupted (see Section 9).
3. Connecting accounts
For Operators. To function, LogDog requires an invitation to your Discord server with the permissions it requests, and that you connect a VRChat group and grant the LogDog account "View Audit Log" access within that group. Some features (such as banning members, posting, or synchronizing roles) additionally require you to grant the LogDog account the relevant VRChat group permissions, at your discretion. You represent that you have the right to connect each Discord server and VRChat group you use with the Service, and to authorize LogDog to access the data described in the Privacy Policy. You may revoke access at any time by removing the bot, deleting your configuration, or removing the LogDog account's group access.
Account linking (Members and Operators). Where a server enables it, a Member may link their own VRChat account by proving ownership with a one-time code. You may only link a VRChat account that is yours. A link belongs to the Member and is LogDog-wide, not tied to one server: a server that enables cross-server trust may rely on an existing link to grant its roles without a new code, and in doing so learns the Member's linked VRChat identity and age-verification status. A VRChat account can be linked to one Discord account at a time; verifying it from another Discord account with a fresh code moves the link there and removes the linked roles from the previous Discord account. Members can remove their link at any time with /unlink.
4. Content
People submit content through the Service: announcement messages an Operator chooses to mirror into VRChat, moderation reasons and reason presets, world picks, playlists, and world suggestions ("Content"). Whoever submits Content keeps ownership of it.
By submitting Content, you (the person submitting it) grant Raplaz Technologies a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and relay that Content, including the right to sublicense it to Discord and VRChat as needed to post it there, solely to operate the Service as the relevant server has configured it. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license and that your Content does not violate any law or third-party right.
An Operator who chooses to mirror a message written by someone else (for example a member's announcement, or a message posted to VRChat through the right-click menu) represents that they have that person's permission to do so, and is responsible for that choice.
This license lasts while the Content is in use by the Service. When the Content is deleted, the server's configuration is removed, or these Terms end, the license ends, except that copies may remain in routine backups and where we must keep them for legal reasons, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may remove Content that violates these Terms or platform rules.
If you believe Content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with the material identified, your contact details, and a statement of your good-faith belief, and we will act on it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or of Discord's or VRChat's terms or policies;
- use the Service to harass, stalk, dox, or harm any person, or to collect or redistribute another person's data for those purposes;
- use screening, linking, or moderation features to discriminate against anyone in a way that is unlawful in your jurisdiction;
- link a VRChat account you do not own, forge or share a verification code, or otherwise misrepresent your identity to the Service;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' configurations or dashboard sessions, or our systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or probe the Service, circumvent any rate limit, access control, or security measure, or reverse-engineer it except to the extent applicable law allows;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted; or
- connect a VRChat group or Discord server you are not authorized to administer.
Operators are solely responsible for how they and their moderators use, display, retain, export, and share the information LogDog delivers into their server or shows in the dashboard, including compliance with any privacy obligations they owe to their members.
6. Premium features and payments
LogDog offers optional premium features. Premium entitlements are currently granted through Discord App Subscriptions, Patreon, and/or other arrangements we may offer from time to time.
- Billing is handled by Discord or Patreon and is subject to their own terms. We do not store your payment-card details.
- Premium benefits apply for the period for which you have an active, qualifying subscription, pledge, or grant, subject to a short reconciliation/grace period. If your subscription or pledge lapses or is removed, premium benefits may be withdrawn.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund or cancellation requests are handled under the policies of the platform you paid through (Discord or Patreon).
- We may change premium features, tiers, or pricing prospectively. We will notify current premium subscribers of material changes before they take effect.
7. Privacy and data
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process, why, and who is responsible for it. Your use of the Service is subject to it.
As an Operator, you may be a data controller for the audit-log activity LogDog delivers to your members and for the screening rules you configure; you are responsible for handling that information lawfully within your community.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, commands, dashboard, branding, and the "LogDog" name and logo, is owned by Raplaz Technologies and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
VRChat is a trademark of VRChat Inc., and Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc. LogDog is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by VRChat Inc. or Discord Inc.
9. Availability, "as is," and disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that any data delivered will be accurate or complete. The Service depends on third-party platforms and providers (including Discord and VRChat) that we do not control; outages, API changes, rate limits, or access changes on those platforms may delay, degrade, or prevent delivery, and any action an Operator directs LogDog to perform in VRChat (such as a ban, post, or role change) may be delayed, rejected, or fail. Features marked as beta or preview may change or be withdrawn at any time. Operators remain responsible for moderation decisions made through the Service, including decisions made automatically under rules they configured.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raplaz Technologies and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or moderation outcomes, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for LogDog premium, whether through Discord, Patreon, or otherwise, in the three (3) months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
11. Indemnification (Operators)
If you are an Operator, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Raplaz Technologies from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Content you or your staff submit, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of any third party's rights, including how you handle data delivered by the Service. Members are not subject to this section, except for claims arising from their own violation of these Terms or the law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot, deleting your configuration, unlinking your account, or signing out of the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove the bot from a server, end dashboard sessions, or disable individual features if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by a third-party platform. Where you hold an active premium subscription we will make reasonable efforts to notify you first, unless we need to act immediately to protect the Service, other users, or a platform relationship. We may also modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
Upon termination, the rights granted to you end. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 8 through 11 and 14 through 16, and the tail of Section 4 about backups and legal holds) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you are a consumer living in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another place whose law gives you the right to bring claims where you live, nothing in this section takes that right away, and you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
15. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the unenforceable part is replaced by the closest enforceable term. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Raplaz Technologies about the Service. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor that takes over the Service.
